I believe keeping a conversation alive around social justice issues and human rights allows opportunity for individuals and communities to heal, grow and thrive through challenges.

The media and creative industries have great potential to continue to do this and do it better.

I have observed a gap in the justice and legal system where people fall through the cracks that may be filled with better public education about the law and connectedness with other industries.

This has been noticed by many other professionals and filling this gap better may improve the quality of life for a person when they face a legal challenge.

Respecting diversity and maintaining a healthy perspective and attitude towards life is my personal choice to constantly better myself and set an example for others.

Maintaining resilience along with physical and mental well-being is something I work hard at while I strive to serve others with what I have to offer from my personal and professional experience.

Role models and mentors have taught me about facing life with humour and bravery and expressing myself creatively and I intend to follow in their footsteps.

I have experience as a journalist which is focused on social justice topics and the arts and creative industries in line with my education background and interests.

I am writing a book and wish to use my skills to write and design for various forms of media.
